About Course

Learn the Animals that evolved before Molluscs, most primitive sea creatures where the shell is not developed.

  •   Sea Creatures with No Shells: like Poriferas, Cniderians and Echinodermata (Column 1)

E.g. Spongia, Badiaga, Medusa, Corallium Rubrum, Asteria Rubens, Holothuria Edulis (sea cucumber), Toxopneustes pileolus (Flower sea urchin)

AND

The animals that evolved just after molluscs (Column 3) of the Animal Chart

  •     Arthropods & Scorpions with Armor: Arthropods like lobsters, shrimps, crabs.  While Scorpion is a Arachnids, it is placed here is Column 3 (Fire Element) due to the similarities.

Arthropods, especially crustaceans have a hard exoskeleton and are the first to have a fully segmented body plan. They can live independently without a support system. However, their exoskeleton (modified protective shell) can become suffocative.

E.g. Crawfish –Astacus astacus, European Lobster- Homarus Gammarus, Scorpion –Androctonus Amoreuxii Hebraeus
