We are thrilled to announce our 2-year in-depth course on Ancient Plants with Dr Michal Yakir, starting January 2027. Internationally beloved for her feminine approach to understanding botanicals in homeopathy, Dr Michal brings together classical homeopathy, botany, psychology, anthropology, kabbalism, and spirituality to illuminate the wisdom of ancient plants.
Plants were occupying earth for 3 billion years. They came on land only 530 million years ago. Nowadays most of the plant world is dominated by flowering plants, which started only after extinction of dinosaurs only 65 million years ago. Before that the ancient plants were ruling.
Most of those primordial and ancient plants are extinct. Ancient Plants have survived extinction events…and they are still here, to tell the tale. They tell story of extinction and survival.
According to Dr Michal Yakir, while flowering plants can reflect the evolution of humans and humanity, ancient plants reveal stages in the evolution of the Earth itself.
