Animal kingdom was extensively studied by Dr Sankaran and the understanding was further advanced by Dr Mahesh Gandhi through his animal chart. Dr Gandhi divided the animal group into invertebrates and vertebrates. The common themes of the animal kingdom are shared by each remedy from this kingdom. We can redefine our clinical skills by differentiating the patients into vertebrates or invertebrates depending on how developed the nervous system is. The animal kingdom that was divided into invertebrates and vertebrates can further be classified based on the themes of each individual subkingdom or groups like that of the insects, spiders, sea creatures, mammals, etc. In this series we are going to be studying the 8 key groups of the animal kingdom.
