Like isn’t it that all around the year the general guidelines of nutrition to be healthy is same, then why there is a difference in nutrition in monsoon. Since there is a climatic and temperature change , the immunity levels dropping down. The susceptibility of water bone diseases increases. The cases of common flu & cold rises. Since rains are unpredictable, the weather could be either humid or cold.
Monsoons usually demand some extra care on food habits followed by skincare routine. Its important to have a healthy diet in monsoon which help to take care of digestive system and skin.

- Go for antioxidants: Ginger tea, garlic-based soup, cumin seeds, coriander seeds. These functional foods acts as antioxidants, helps to fight inflammation and help in building immunity.
- Nuts: Nuts and dry fruits give instant energy in gloomy weather. They provide the necessary minerals and build immunity.
- Vegetables: Green leafy vegetables are very nutritious what we know but these should be avoided since they grow close to the mud and high chances of infection from it. Also, if eaten, it should be thoroughly washed and cleaned.
- Fruits: Seasonal fruits like plum, cherries, litchi should be eaten to improve the increase demand of vitamin C in this season.
